Mediating The North Conference

As part of the Great Northern Creative Festival Uclan hosted ‘Mediating the North’ a Conference presenting research papers, films and photographic projects from the North.

Photography Lecturer Mark Reeves presented ‘Pleasure Prom’ a collaboration with David Dennison looking at the new promenade developments in Blackpool. This created some interesting debate around regeneration issues in the north of the Uk and how we present Iconic northern spaces.
